Gucci joins LV

Hi boys, girls and gheys!!

I had a spectacular 3 week holiday which included intercontinental star-spotting --- Helen Hunt at the LAX airport lounge, The Fonz in Long Island signing his new children's book (yes! he is REALLY famous as an author) and Salman Rushdie who sat diagonal from me on a NY-London flight. Of course there was also Jeremy Irons in Kensington Gardens walking his dogs.

So it was such a let down to come back to Asia, land of Leon Lai and Andy Lau to hear such C-list gossip (but interesting to us) from my Hong Kong Hookers:
Manila columnist and (SH)IT-Girl Christina Vergel de Dios who had a garage sale (one of the highlights being LV goods) is now shacking up in London with a former LV HK executive now with a jewellery (read:diamond cartel) company.
So I guess from Da-Coke you move to Da-Beer(s)...

Hi Kitty. I have your two books. They have been with me everywhere I go - in the cots beside the pools of Marco Polo (Davao and Cebu), Pearl Farm and the newly added malipano Island. in the breakfast table of Shangrila Mactan, in pre-departure areas of airports,on my bedside table, under my pillows, under my bed - your books are unputdownable. I've had them for three months and the reason for their ubiquitous presence is not that I have not finished reading them but rather, I've been re-reading and re-reading and re-reading ad libitum.
You're so mean! I still can't figure out who these ghastly and hideous creatures are that you have so well hidden in fancy, phony, fictitious names. I won't stop until I get all of them right.
But, if, in a rare streak of compassion you are going to reveal to me who these characters are to spare me several distressing migraine attacks - maybe I can e-mail you?

A devoted fan who reads your books after I read the Liturgy of the Hours (Is that bad?)

Hi Kitty,

So far I'm liking the posts. But please, please use bigger and more readable fonts like Brian Gorrell. Please also try to make the font background of the more readable kind.

Also, I think there may be too many run-on sentences here IMHO. Just some constructive feedback.

(I posted this earlier in Brian's blog, not realizing it should have been here.)
Go, go Kitty Go.
Slay them again and again.
10 years ago,I saw you first time at a press launch for some singer at the old bldg.across Robinson Ermita.
I knew you had a renegade spirit when I saw what you were wearing: a goddess gown coupled with rubber sneakers.
Watta hoot...toot toot.
Such chutzpah.

Yup, I saw the girl and the white guy at ARTHK 08 a few weeks ago in Hong Kong. At first I thought it was some random white guy and a domestic helper. But then I recognized who they were... its easy to make these mistakes in Wanchai.

jj mckay. Ease up on the domestic helper comparison. These domestic workers are more useful than the parasites that fancy themselves the elite.

What i heard is that CVD had a garage sale together with her beloved mother. It was even announced over the radio in their hometown and it was supposedly for a foundation. But actually they will be the ones who will benefit from the sale.A friend's sis in law was able to buy an orange Furla for p5000.Does she need to have it authenticated?I heard CVD is known for her pirated bags.As Chikatime would say: Sa kanya kaya?Totoo kaya?
